Red Gorman Insurance has “HIT” the big time!
For the past 3 years we have invested a lot of time, energy and money toward having a presence on Google. We all love Google for its quick and easy list of the highest profile information based on your search criteria. For the agency, we have held a constant presence on page 3 and 4 depending on your search. Today, if only for a brief moment, we were on page 1. I noticed we moved to page 2 later in the day but page 1 we were on. Whether it is Dallas auto insurance or Oak Cliff auto insurance you're searching, look for Red Gorman Insurance.
One of the greatest things about insurance for the consumer is choice. There are a lot of agencies for you to choose from. If you're choosing to only browse through the first page of Google, you're limiting yourself to just a few. Right now, if a business wants to work with you and they're not on page 1 of Google, they can “forget it”. As a daily consumer myself I can say that I rarely reach page 2, let alone 3 or 4 of Google. Take a leap next time and consider browsing pages 2-10 and who knows, maybe the agency that best fits your needs is in there. We're not on page 1 and I know were the best! lol
I used to think there was some secret formula to getting to page one of Google. It's taken me quite a long time but I can finally give you the formula… diligent hard work. Are you thinking outside the box and being innovative to stay ahead of your competition? Are you setting dedicated time aside each day to put some energy in to your SEO? Google isn't just going to magically place your business on the first page because they feel bad. Wanting it won't do anything, spending time and energy on it will.
When I was a child, my mother used to read me this book about a little boy named Bobby. Now Bobby was a pretty good little league baseball player. He could run the bases fast. He could slide, he could catch the ball but he could never hit the ball. I loved that book as a kid and when I had a son I read that book over and over to my son as well when he was little. Today I think about that story and how it plays out here in my adult life. I feel like I’m pretty good at some things but this internet has always seemed to get past me. Well, not any more. We have been swinging away at this and we finally got a “HIT”. We want to be on page 1 of Google.
Today, I’d like to thank Bobby for reminding me what hard work can accomplish. We'll keep striving for the first page and you keep searching. If you've gotten this far then I thank you for reading my blog. If you're in the neighborhood, come see me, ask for me, say hello. I've been in this neighborhood for 13 years. Some of you know me by David, others by Big Red. Either way, come on in and shake my hand. I'd like to thank you for being part of the Red Gorman family and allowing us to take care of you.
See you next time!
Always trying to stay local,
David (Big Red) Gorman
